I was a gymnast since I was 6 years old and competed throughout my collegiate career. I Graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with A Bachelor’s of Science and a minor in Public health, Wellness, and Nutrition.
I am a level 1 CrossFit trainer. I am Precision Nutrition Certified and a WAG Certified Nutrition coach.
Fitness has always been a big part of my life. If I wasn’t in the gym doing gymnastics, I was lifting at a Globo gym with my father. I wish I knew back then the importance of nutrition as a teen and as an athlete. I think that is why I am so passionate now. I want to help others because it is never too late to fix your diet and become the healthiest version you can be!
The approach that Strength & Co. follows is A Macro based flexible dieting approach. Meaning we track our Protein, Carbohydrate, and Fat intake as well as overall calories. The flexible dieting part is the best part! you should not be eliminating ANY food groups. The goal is to teach you a balanced approach of eating the foods you love and enjoy with moderation and in the amounts that your body needs to properly thrive.
The reason this approach is proven most effective is because anyone can just clean up their diet and eat healthier foods. But what happens when that is no longer doing the trick? We need to make sure we are taking in the proper amounts that our body need in order to successfully reach our goals. Whether that’s Fat loss, muscle gain or simply fueling for performance. I want to help, even if it is just learning what your body needs on a daily basis.
